Casino winner's very tasty treat!

A delighted Sarah Barnes (seen here receiving her prize from AB Mauri's Business Manager Chris Abbott) was the winner of the AB Mauri Casino Competition at the Baking Industry Awards Dinner, held at the Park Lane Hilton, London.

The Dinner in September was an extremely enjoyable affair; successful both as a baking industry gathering and as a social evening where business colleagues were able to meet in very relaxed surroundings. AB Mauri has long been a proud sponsor of the Casino and believe these Awards were the best yet.

Sarah's prize consisted of a weekend for two at the prestigious London Mandarin Oriental, plus dinner at Nobu, the famous Japanese restaurant, plus tickets for a West End show.

Sarah Barnes, a manager at Slatterys, said she was surprised but overjoyed to win and that she would be dividing the pleasure of her prizes between Michael, her partner, and her daughter. The luxury weekend at Mandarin Oriental and the meal at Nobu would be shared with Michael, whilst the theatre tickets would be for a show to be selected by her daughter because "Michael isn't really into musicals and shows
